WA Beer Week

Here’s just a few of the many events happening during WA Beer Week:

Little Creatures Brewery Open Day: During WA Beer week is Little Creatures Brewery Open Day. Here you’ll be able to see how beer is made and take home a gift! Tours start at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Make sure you book to save your place!

Go to the Little Creatures Beer School on Sunday 8th November 2-4pm. This is one of the few events with an entry fee. And you’ll get a chance at brewing yourself.

Throughout the week, at various bars in Perth and the suburbs, you’ll be able to try a range of beers:

Mrs Browns and Two Birds: There will be beer from Two Birds,  first female owned brewery, available to buy at Mrs Browns from tomorrow, until the 15th November.

Monday tasting: Get over Monday blues by meeting the brewer from Cricketers Arms at the Cheeky Sparrow (Wolf Lane) along with nibbles!

Stout Road Trip: Taste Nail Brewing’s Clout Stout across Clancy’s Fish Pubs in this state. From Monday 9th to Thursday 12th, you’ll be able to try the beer as well as a special Nail Beer that has been brewed especially for WA Beer Week.

Women only masterclass of craft beer: Tuesday 10th Nov: If you’re female and still not sure about beer, head over to Mash Brewery’s classroom aimed only at women. A beer appreciation masterclass could be a sold out event so get in first! Mash head brewer, Charlie Hodgson, will be leading the class and helping you how to taste beer, pick out flavours and talk about what’s really in your glass! And you’ll have a chance of beer and food matching! Details here.

Thursday night:

In the city, at the Aviary in Perth on Thursday 5pm – 8pm, meet Matilda Bay Beer Specialist Marco Daquino, taste beers and enjoy some food after work. More information here:

Friday 13th November: Beer and Whisk(e)y Night at Monk Craft Brewery Kitchen in Fremantle. Details here!

Saturday 14th November:Beers from Swan Valley, micro-breweries in Perth and from the South West at Bad Apples Bar 6/16 Riseley Street. Info here.

Sunday afternoon: Finish the week off on Sunday 15th Nov with a choice of 2 beer and food matching events; one at North Fremantle Bowling Club and at Petition Beer Corner in the city. Book your place first to avoid disappointment!
